Indefinite road closure order for Dudley street while Metro works underway
HIGHWAYS chiefs have issued an indefinite road closure order for Birmingham Street, Dudley, and King Street bus lane.
Birmingham Street will be closed to traffic from the King Street/Trindle Road junction to Fisher Street.
While the King Street bus lane will be closed from the service yard to The Churchill Shopping Centre access road to the end of the bus lane in Birmingham Street.
The closure will be in place indefinitely from Monday February 13.
Access to the bus station for buses only will be via Portersfield.
Access to the rear service area for Birdcage Walk will be maintained via Fishier Street.
The restriction will be in place to enable works related to the Midland Metro Extension to take place safely.
