MORE than 30 road closures have been approved to enable people across the borough to hold street parties to celebrate the coronation of King Charles III.

The King will be officially crowned at Westminster Abbey on Saturday May 6 followed by an official bank holiday on Monday May 8.

The Mayor of Dudley invited residents across the borough to apply to hold street parties to celebrate the historic occasion and the council waived its usual fees for road closures to help more people enjoy the festivities.
