A PROTEST march was held in Dudley in solidarity with the people of Palestine.

Crowds marched to Dudley Council House, where a meeting was being held, yesterday evening (Monday, October 16).

People taking part in the demonstration waved Palestinian flags as they made their way through the town centre.

The demonstration was organised by the Dudley Palestine Solidarity Group.

The protest is amidst the ongoing war between Israel and Hamas, with the conflict igniting earlier this month.

At least 1,400 Israelis, many of them civilians, were killed in Hamas’s attack. More than 2,700 Palestinians have died as Israel launched air strikes on Gaza during its siege on the cramped territory home to more than two million people.
