SIX boys between age 12 and 18 are in custody after police were called to a burglary in Dudley last night.

Officers quickly responded to a report of people breaking into a house on Elm Green at around 9.45pm last night (Monday November 27).

On arrival at the scene, they found pipework had been ripped from inside the property causing extensive damage.

Enquiries led to the arrest of six males, aged between 12 and 18, nearby on suspicion of burglary.

They remain in custody for questioning today.
