A WOMAN who was lost and injured in Quarry Bank woodland has been rescued by police.
Officers using drones found the woman who had fallen down an embankment last night (Sunday December 17) in Saltwells Nature Reserve near Black Brook.
A spokesperson for West Midlands Police's Eye in the Sky drones unit said: "We found a lost and injured woman in Quarry Bank this evening.
"Her day going from bad to worse after falling down an embankment in woodland and sustaining injuries.
"We helped direct in other officers and paramedics."
They said she was receiving the help she needed.
West Midlands Ambulance Service and West Midlands Police have been contacted for comment.
