A MAN has been detained by police after a woman was reportedly threatened with a gun in Dudley.
The incident happened at an address in Queen's Cross this morning (Saturday, March 9).
Officers responding to the report arrived and recovered a BB gun from the scene.
Police confirmed that a 54-year-old man was detained on suspicion of threats to kill. He is now in police custody.
The A4101 was closed between Stourbridge Road and High Street whilst police dealt with the incident.
A spokesperson for West Midlands Police said: "We received a report of a man threatening a woman with a gun at an address in Queens Cross, Dudley, at just before 10.50am today (9 March).
"We attended and recovered a BB gun. A 54-year-old man has been detained on suspicion of threats to kill and taken into custody for questioning".
