SAUNDERS Barbara Mary

Wife of the late Ray Saunders and formerly of Worcester, Severn Stoke, Welland and Ledbury, died on Monday 26th February 2024 aged 105 in her care home in Leominster. She is survived by her four children, eight grandchildren and twenty-three great-grandchildren.

At Barbara’s request there will not be a funeral, but a family party to celebrate her life. This is the end of a very special era in our family. Thank you to all her carers, especially at the end of her life.

SCARISBRICK Val

18 April 1932 – 10 March 2024. Val Scarisbrick died 10 March 2024, peacefully in her sleep, at her care home in Hereford, aged 91. She was known as a Christian and active supporter of the church, townswoman, Chained Library guide, Children’s Society charity collector, calligrapher, keen reader, knitter, and an independent soul. She leaves a son Chris (wife Julie), daughter Ann, three grandchildren, three great-grandchildren.
