AN early-hours raid has been carried out on a Kingswinford chemists - the second time the store has been targeted in months.
A gang smashed their way into Boots on Market Street at 2.15am this morning (Sunday April 7).
The raiders stole items and sped off in a vehicle, police said.
The store was targeted by ram raiders who punched a man who had tried to intervene, last December. Stock was stolen after a van reversed into it, smashing in the front of the store.
A spokesman for West Midlands Police said: "We’re investigating after a store on Market Street, Kingswinford was burgled at around 2.15am this morning (7 April).
"We received a report that a group of people smashed the front windows to gain access to the store, where they stole items before making off in a vehicle.
"Anyone with information that can help our investigation is asked to call 101 or use LiveChat on our website and quote crime reference 20/384002/24."
