THE second leg of the local derby between Worcester City and Raiders has had a change of venue.

The two city teams were due to play at Claines Lane on Tuesday, April 16 but will now face each other at Raiders' home ground of Sixways.

The match will still kick off at 7.45pm.

A Worcester City FC spokesperson said: "Tuesday's scheduled Hellenic League tie vs Worcester Raiders will now be played at Sixways Stadium with a 7.45pm kick off.

"Further ticketing and match day details will be announced in due course."

It is tenth place Raiders' last league game of the season and they face the Hellenic League champions.

The second Worcester derby was previously postponed in March because of a waterlogged Claines Lane pitch.

It has been a historic week for Worcester City as the league win saw them break a 45-year drought by beating Thornbury 1-0 with a goal from Chris Knight.

Thursday's game against Hereford Lads Club was postponed after a pitch inspection because Claines Lane was once again waterlogged. A new date is yet to be announced.

City is set to play Great Wakering Rovers on Saturday in the FA Vase second leg for a chance to head to Wembley.
