A man from Dudley will be bringing Prince back to life - by dressing as the icon for a number of parkruns.
Mark Sinclair, 58, has been running as the pop star at several races including 5ks, 10ks and half marathons.
In 2023, he completed 14 parkruns in Dudley, West Midlands, and London, and 10Ks in London, Birmingham, Sutton Coldfield, Wolverhampton, Tamworth, Milton Keynes, Knowle and Aldridge, all while dressed as Prince. He also completed the half marathon in Birmingham.
Raising awareness for prostate cancer, Mr Sinclair stresses that this disease affects 1 in 8 men in the UK, especially those over 50.
He recently took part in the London Landmarks Half Marathon on April 7, and plans on participating in the Birmingham Half Marathon on May 5, both as Prince.
All donations will fund research and support for men and their families affected by the disease and can be made at the JustGiving website, where he has raised - at the time of writing - £125.
