POLICE have charged a man in connection with an assault in Dudley in which a man was stabbed in the leg.

Michael Taylor from Dudley has been charged with wounding with intent and possessing an offensive weapon in a public place.

The charges relate to an offence alleged to have taken place in Dudley High Street on April 11 in which a man was stabbed several times in the leg following an argument with another man.

A 21-year-old man was arrested yesterday and remanded to appear before Wolverhampton Magistrates’ Court this morning (Friday May 17).
