THE DRIVER of a car which was spotted on the wrong side of the road had "had a bit too much to drink" police said.
Brierley Hill police said the driver failed to stop for them in the early hours of yesterday (Monday July 1).
He has been charged with drink driving.
Brierley Hill police tweeted: "This vehicle failed to stop for us in the early hours, after being seen driven on the wrong side of the road.
"The driver was the registered keeper, who'd had a bit too much to drink.
"He then failed to provide in custody and has been charged with the offence."
