A man has been arrested after several cars were stolen across Dudley and Wolverhampton last year.
Dudley Police said they arrested the 23-year-old at a property in Sedgley today (Wednesday, July 17) as part of an investigation into a series of car thefts in April and May 2023.
Officers said the man remains in police custody as enquiries continue.
A spokesperson for Dudley Police said: "We have a suspected car thief in the cells after a number of cars were stolen across Dudley and Wolverhampton last year.
"Officers arrested the 23-year-old at a property in Sedgley today as part of an investigation into a series of car thefts in April and May 2023.
"He remains in police custody as our enquiries continue. We know that having a vehicle stolen is costly and upsetting and we're committed to identifying and detaining those involved.
