POLICE have confirmed three teenagers were arrested and have since been bailed after an incident in Cradley Heath in which a man was slashed with a knife.

Officers were called to Silverthorne Lane at around 7.20pm on Saturday (August 2) to reports of disorder, West Midlands Police said today.

A man was taken to hospital after being attacked with a knife and three teenage boys were arrested.

The injured man has since been discharged from hospital and the arrested teens have since been bailed pending further enquiries.

A spokesperson for West Midlands Police said of the incident: “We were called to Silverthorne Lane in Cradley Heath at around 7.20pm last Saturday (August 2) to reports of disorder.

“A man was assaulted and slashed with a knife. He was taken to hospital to be treated for his injuries and has since been discharged.

“A 17-year-old boy and two 15-year-olds were arrested on suspicion of wounding and assault and released on police bail pending further enquiries.
