TWO teenagers have been arrested with two firearms seized in Dudley.
The pair, aged 16 and 14, were arrested in Hockley Lane, Netherton, shortly after 7am yesterday (Tuesday August 13) after they were spotted by an off-duty officer, who alerted colleagues and followed them from a distance.
Officers tracked and arrested the pair and recovered a firearm and ammunition from one of the teens, while the other was found in possession of suspected class B drugs.
A second weapon was found a short time later and seized.
A spokesperson for West Midlands Police said this morning: "They remain in custody at this time while our enquiries continue.
"Firearms have no place on our streets and we are committed to taking action against anyone who tries to carry one."
