TWO suspected thieves have been arrested after they were chased by police in Pensnett.
Officers were alerted to items being stolen from a car in Herringbone Way, just before 4.15am on Thursday (August 29).
Officers quickly attended and spotted two men who ran off.
Police tracked them to nearby Stallings Lane - where one was hiding in a bush - and arrested them on suspicion of theft from a motor vehicle.
The men, aged 21 and 25, remain in police custody for questioning.
A spokesperson for West Midlands Police said: "We recovered stolen items and have since become aware of another theft from a vehicle within the area.

"We know the impact of vehicle crime on our communities and we're continuing our ongoing work to tackle this".
