POLICE are appealing for information after a serious assault which saw a man slashed with a knife.
A man was attacked by a group of men and was slashed with a knife outside a shop in Cheshire Road, Smethwick, at around 10pm on 2 August.
A spokesperson for West Midlands Police said: "We would like to speak with anyone who was in the area at the time, and can help with our investigation.
