A DRIVER has been arrested after police spotted an allegedly stolen car on cloned plates in Dudley before it crashed into a parked car on a drive.
Officers from the West Midlands Police road crime team pursued the Hyundai Tucson when they spotted it in the borough.
The vehicle then crashed, damaging a garden wall, with the driver, who attempted to flee, arrested.
Police shared a picture of him being threatened with a taser.
West Midlands Police traffic officers posted on X today (Tuesday September 17): "Road Crime Team saw this cloned and stolen Hyundai Tucson in Dudley where it was pursued before crashing and the driver was arrested after a decamp.
"We then searched for his friends Audi which tried to block us during the pursuit.
"It was seized and enquires are ongoing to ID the driver."
