PUPILS at Alder Coppice Primary School in Sedgley proved they’d got talent when they organised a variety performance for family, friends and staff.
The year 5 and 6 pupils staged singing, dancing, drama and musical performances in the school hall, managing to raise £200 for the ‘buy-a-brick’ scheme at the Sedgley-based Beacon Centre for the Blind, which is raising funds for a £18m expansion.
School office manager Margaret Edwards said: “The children organised the whole evening themselves and it received a great response from everyone who attended.”
