I WOULD like to address the problem of speeding motorists as is the case of “Action plea on speeding motorists”, Dudley News, July 16.

I happen to live in the Burton Road area, which is commonly known as Death Race 2008.

On the morning of July 6, one elderly gentleman’s car was catapulted into the rear of his disabled neighbour’s car, leaving both cars wrecked.

The vehicle that caused this damage was a 4 x 4.

The time of the accident was 6.45am. The police would not have been involved, of course, as no-one was injured.

I very often see vehicles going through the traffic lights on red. Are they colour blind?

We really need speed cameras on the junction of Burton Road/Kent Street to stop all these Grand Prix drivers.
