POLICE have seized cannabis plants from a property in Holly Hall.
Officers from the Merry Hill neighbourhood policing unit, based at Brierley Hill, obtained a warrant to search a house in Stourbridge Road yesterday morning under the Misuse of Drugs Act.
A 39-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of cultivation of cannabis and a 17-year-old male was arrested for a breach of the peace.
They are currently helping police with their inquiries.
On arrival at the house, police found 17 mature cannabis plants as well as a full hydroponics growing equipment including insulation and watering systems in one of the upstairs bedrooms.
Sergeant Stuart Birtwisle, heading the operation, said some of the plants would be sent for analysis at a laboratory in Birmingham, while the rest of the cannabis would be destroyed.
