A series of community renewal partner meetings are being held across the Dudley Borough during March.

Community renewal partner meetings are aimed at allowing residents to hold varied discussions and activities, ranging from safety concerns to organising community events.

In Brierley Hill Brockmoor partnership meeting takes place on Tuesday March 3 at Brockmoor community centre from 6pm.

In Dudley the Castle & Priory children & young people’s group meet on the same day at Priory childrens centre from 11.15am, with the Sledmere partnership’s information day taking place at Sledmere primary school on Tuesday March 10 from 12.30pm.

Castle & Priory area regeneration board then meet on Thursday March 19 at Wrens Nest Community Centre from 6pm, with a meeting of the Sledmere partnership taking place on Wednesday March 25, at Sledmere community centre from 6pm. Castle & Priory safe and secure action group meet the next day at 1.30pm in Wrens Nest community centre.

In North Dudley Gornal community safety meeting takes place on Monday March 16 at Lower Gornal Darby and Joan Club, on Abbey Street, at 6.30pm.

In Stourbridge Wollescote partnership meeting takes place Wollescote community centre at 7pm on Wednesday March 4, before Lye & Wollescote partnership hold an annual general meeting on Thursday March 12 at Christ Church, Lye at 10am.

The meetings are aimed at solving local issues by involving residents in decisions which affect their communities and neighbourhoods.
