STUDENTS at Dudley College got their own back on their lecturers in a ‘Splat the Staff’ event as they raised money for charity.
Pupils studying for a BTEC National Diploma in Business, came up with the idea after being asked to think of an event to raise money for charity as part of their business module.
The teenagers got 25 brave staff involved and sold wet sponges to pupils eager to soak their lecturers, raising £60 for Birmingham Children’s Hospital.
Shameen Tajik, aged 18, who helped organise the event, said: “It went really well, we all had a great time and we are going to do another event to raise even more money in the future, as we got some really good feedback from the staff and other students.”
