Sedgley Councillor resigns from office
A Sedgley councillor has resigned from office.
Members of North Dudley Area Committee reported John Perry's resignation at last night's meeting, although no reason was given for his departure.
A spokesman for Dudley Council said: "The vacancy in the Sedgley ward will be reported at a meeting of the full council on February 22.
"The seat will be contested along with all other wards as part of the municipal elections on May 6."
