FRIENDS and family of a popular Dudley musician left fighting for his life after being stabbed have been praying for his recovery.
Jack Turley, aged 25, a member of the band The Fight, and a 21-year-old friend were injured in Cromwell Street, Kates Hill, at around 9.10pm on Sunday November 13.
The pair were both taken to hospital and were this afternoon (Tuesday November 15) said to be in a critical but stable condition.
Jack, whose punk pop band featuring sister Kate has toured extensively in the US, Japan, Canada and Europe, was undergoing surgery today.
His mum Maria posted on Facebook earlier today: βHe is in the best hospital in the country with one to one care. We would like to thank everyone for all the fantastic support and wishes.β
Dudley teenager Sean Davies, aged 19, of Cromwell Street, was arrested following the incident and charged with two counts of attempted murder, possession with intent to supply cannabis and possession of an offensive weapon.
He appeared before Dudley magistrates this afternoon (Tuesday) and was remanded in custody to appear at Wolverhampton Crown Court on February 7.
A second man arrested following the incident, also 19, has been released on police bail.
