A ZOMBIE themed event is taking place at Dudley Library this weekend.
Staff will set up a zombie emergency relief centre to include a craft activity for younger readers on Saturday (May 23).
The event is to mark Zombie Awareness Month and is being used to attract young people to the library.
Cllr Rachel Harris, cabinet member elect for health and wellbeing, said: “This genre of fiction is very popular, especially amongst younger readers.
“Many young people use libraries and this is an opportunity for those who want to find out more about libraries to come in and see the wide range of books and other resources we have.”
The free event takes place from 2.30pm to 3.30pm at the library in St James’s Road.
There will be refreshments available and a workshop to make zombie skittles.
