MEMBERS of Dudley Borough Interfaith Network will mark the tenth anniversary of the London bombings with a walk of reflection this evening (Tuesday).
The walk will begin at 6.30pm from Top Church, Vicar Street and finish at Dudley Central Mosque, Birmingham Street.
Leading the walk will be the Revd Canon Andrew Wickens and Imam Hashmi Qudoos.
In a joint statement they said: “We've recently witnessed appalling terror attacks in Tunisia affecting many innocent people.
“Today across our country, people are remembering the bombings in London that took place ten years ago on 7/7.
“That day after attacks on the tube and a London bus, the people of the city had to walk home. Public transport was paralysed.
“Although the bombers tried to divide British society, the people of London walked home together.
“So today, here in Dudley, we also walk side by side."
Anyone who would like to join the walk should arrive at the church for 6.20pm.
