HALESOWEN Town have named former West Bromwich Albion forward Lee Hughes as the club's new manager after parting ways with Rob Smith and assistant Larry Chambers.
Smith's 18 games in charge have produced just two wins and ten points leaving the club second bottom in the Southern League Central.
Hughes has been appointed as first team player/manager until the end of the season.
He is set to be joined by Asa Charlton as his assistant and Craig Harris as coach.
Hughes' first game in charge will be the crucial home game against Hitchin Town this Saturday.
