STOURBRIDGE's popular Street Food Affair is branching out to The Waterfront at intu Merry Hill this spring.

The event, on Friday May 10, will mark the first time intu has worked with Street Food Affair, who regularly organise foodie fairs at The Bonded Warehouse in Stourbridge.

Taking place from 4m to 9pm, the event will see locally-produced burgers, beverages and barbecued meats served up by street food favourites from across the Midlands including burger brand The Patty Freaks.

Visitors will also be treated to live music and entertainment at the event which boasts free entry and free parking.

Sarah New, founder of Street Food Affair, said: “I’ve been running Street Food Affair at The Bonded Warehouse for two years now and the response has been phenomenal. "Our ethos has always been to support local talent and bring the community together.

“We’re very excited to be able to take what we’ve created in Stourbridge and bring it to The Waterfront and hopefully attract both our regular followers and a new audience. "There will be some old favourites returning and we will also be supporting some new start-ups who are sure to make an impact.”

Jaspal Singh, asset surveyor at intu Properties Plc, added: “Good food is one of the best ways to bring friends and families together. We’ve teamed up with Street Food Affair to give our local visitors, office workers and those based farther afield the chance to try something different at The Waterfront.

“Some of the best and most well-loved street food brands from all over the Midlands will be joining us in May and we’re looking forward to trying their different dishes. "There will be something for all tastes and preferences to enjoy.”
