INTREPID water sport fans can have fun and raise funds for Comic Relief at 12-hour sponsored 'paddlethon' this weekend.
The 12-hour fundraising challenge takes place from 10am to 10pm on Saturday March 16 at Dudley Water Sports Centre at Lodge Farm Resevoir on Highbridge Road.
The event will see people take to the water on a stand up paddle board, all to raise money for Comic Relief.
Organiser Susan Ridley said: "Everyone is welcome, the more the merrier.
"Anyone wanting to support can either sponsor or pay £10 to go out on a stand up paddle board thus contributing to the good cause.
The Deputy Mayor of Dudley, Councillor Hilary Bills and Deputy Consort Mr John Bills will also be joining in the fun to cheer on the competitors.
