ASPIRING artists can display their talents at an exhibition organised by Stourbridge Fairtrade and St James’s Primary School during this Fairtrade Fortnight.

People of all ages can submit the pieces, which need to take Fairtrade cocoa as their inspiration.

Pieces can be in any media, including drawing, painting, collage or sculpture - and they will be displayed at St Thomas’s Church Hall, Stourbridge, on Saturday February 29.

People can take along their artwork on the day.

A Fairtrade display is also being held in Stourbridge Library for the duration of the fortnight - the annual campaigning fortnight of the Fairtrade Foundation which this year runs from February 24 to March 8.

Dudley Council, which is a Fairtrade Council, will be hosting a pop-up exhibition in the council house during the fortnight as well as promoting events run by the borough’s two Fairtrade towns, Stourbridge and Sedgley, during Fairtrade Fortnight which aims to promote a fair wage for farmers and producers in developing countries.
