A MAN has been arrested on suspicion of murder after the bodies of a man and a woman were found in Oldbury today (Tuesday).
Police were called to a home in Moat Road following concerns for the welfare of the people living there.
Officers forced their way in at around 4am and found a man, aged 54 and a woman, 52.
They were pronounced dead at the scene.
At around 5.30am, police arrested a 25-year-old man at an address in Smethwick on suspicion of two murders.
He remains in custody.
A spokesman for Sandwell Police said: "Our initial investigations have lead us to believe that this is a domestic-related incident, with no threat to the wider community."
The victims’ family is being support at this tragic time.
