A MAN has died after suffering a medical emergency in Oldswinford at the weekend, despite the best efforts of air ambulance paramedics, it has now been confirmed.

Two ambulances and the Midlands Air Ambulance from Cosford were called after West Midlands Ambulance Service received reports of a medical emergency at a property on Glasshouse Hill at around 3.23pm on Saturday March 28.

The air ambulance landed on the field at Old Swinford Hospital school off Hagley Road.

A spokesman for West Midlands Ambulance Service said: "On arrival we discovered one patient, a man, who was in a critical condition. 

"Despite the best efforts of ambulance staff, it sadly bec

ame apparent nothing could be done to save him and he was confirmed dead at the scene.”
