A NETHERTON nursery products manufacturer has been praised by MP Mike Wood as it continues to go from strength to strength.
Mr Wood, Dudley South MP, visited Venture UK, on the Washington Centre business park, Halesowen Road, where he chatted with staff and was shown around the company's facilities.
Venture UK was founded by Dean Price in 2014 and has gone on to design hugely popular products including the DUO playpen, which they have sold more than 150,000 of all over Europe.
Several of the company's products have won national awards, including gold status from both the Made for Mums Awards and Mother and Baby Awards.
Mr Wood said: "Venture UK is a fantastic business which creates products parents love - and better yet, they do it from right here in Dudley South.
"Small and medium-sized businesses are the lifeblood of our local economy, and therefore it is really great to see innovative businesses such as Venture UK seizing new opportunities and investing in local people."
