POLICE have issued a dispersal order to crack down on car cruising in Dudley.
The order - which gives officers powers to direct anyone to leave the area whose behaviour is likely to cause alarm, harassment or distress - will be enforced until 7am tomorrow morning (June 28) across Merry Hill, Dudley and Halesowen.
A spokesperson fro Dudley Police said: "Street racing puts the lives of drivers and other innocent road users at risk as well as being a nuisance to residents with the sound of revving engines, blaring horns and loud music.
"We will using be powers to prosecute offenders and seize vehicles if necessary. We will also be reviewing CCTV to take retrospective action.
