STAFF at a Brierley Hill gym will be riding for a good cause next week as they take part in a charity bike-a-thon.

Between 11am and 6pm on Monday (February 15), xercise4less staff and representatives from local businesses will be getting on their bikes in a bid to raise money for Acorns Children’s Hospice.

Jo Baker, the gym’s general manager, said: “We are trying to raise as much as we can for Acorn’s and it would be great to have members of the public coming along on the day to support us.

“We will have one bike being manned by our staff, and another one for our members of non-members to take part and they can cycle for any period of time – as long or as little as they want.”

Monday is also the gym’s open day, where members of the public can visit the gym to see what it is like and also have a go on the equipment before deciding whether to become a member.
