A MAN has been charged in connection with two armed raids including one in Brierley Hill.
Ian Campbell was arrested on Monday March 26 soon after an attempted robbery at Waterfront Convenience Store, Dudley Road, Brierley Hill, which happened at around 9.40pm and which saw a male staff member taken to hospital.
The 33-year-old, of Beech Crescent, Tipton, has since been charged with the offence and possession of an imitation firearm.
He has also been charged in connection with a robbery at News & Booze, Ablewell Street, Walsall, on March 6.
Campbell, who has been remanded in custody, is also accused of administering a noxious liquid and possession of an imitation firearm - and he is due to appear before Wolverhampton Crown Court on April 24.
