BEST-SELLING Black Country author Miranda Dickinson will be promoting her latest romantic read at borough libraries this week.

The popular chick-lit writer, who lives in Lower Gornal, will be talking about her writing experiences and signing copies of her sixth novel I’ll Take New York ahead of its December 4 release date.

Miranda, aged 41, who has who has sold more than 500,000 copies of her books - published through Avon (part of HarperCollins), will be at Sedgley Library from 10.30am tomorrow (Thursday November 27) and later that day at Coseley Library from 2pm.

She will also be at Wordsley Library on Friday November 28 from 10.30am.

Councillor Hilary Bills, Dudley's cabinet member responsible for libraries, said: “We’re delighted to welcome Miranda. Her previous titles have proven extremely popular with our borrowers and I hope this latest edition is a hit.”

Miranda's latest novel, an "almost sequel" to her first best-selling debut novel Fairytale of New York, will be available to borrow from all borough libraries following its release.
