Car found on fire in Smithy Lane in Gornal

BRIERLEY Hill fire crews found a car ablaze after a road crash in Gornal.

The vehicle was well alight and no occupants were found when firefighters arrived at the scene in Smithy Lane, after being alerted at 4.45am.

The incident saw the road closed but crews tweeted at 6.19am saying it had reopened.
