A FIRE broke out at a flat in Netherton this morning (Thursday, August 4).
West Midlands Fire Service crews from Brierley Hill and Oldbury fire stations were alerted to the blaze in Lea Bank Road at about 9.13am.
Two firefighters wearing breathing apparatus tackled the flames with a hose reel jet and were able to extinguish the fire which ripped through the bedroom of a first floor flat.
Representatives from Dudley Council have since been to the property to isolate the electrics.
No one was hurt in the blaze, the cause of which is currently unknown.
