SALSA and ballroom dancing classes for beginners are being added to the daytime programme offered by the ‘Bounce Back...to health and happiness’ team.

Taking place at Quarry Bank Community Centre on Tuesdays, beginning on March 7, the brand new classes are part of the Bounce Back service which has only been operating since early January.

The group has already made its mark on the Black Country community, having attracted hundreds of over 50s to its daily classes and regular day trips.

With bases at both Quarry Bank and St Paul’s Community and Learning Centre, further activities and events are being planned to attract members, both old and new.

Sandy Jones, Bounce Back’s managing director, said: “We always try to listen to what people want and do our best to fulfil their wishes. Salsa is an excellent way to exercise whilst also having fun and meeting new people.

“We have a professional tutor and very importantly, partners are not necessary so both classes can appeal to everyone, whether as a couple or a single person.”
