Mary Stevens Hospice is delighted at the success of this year’s Santa Jog held last Sunday in Mary Stevens Park.

There was a wonderful festive spirit as over 600 Santas gathered around the band stand to join in the mass warm-up led by fitness instructor, Gemma Webster, from Fitness Factory.  Kinver Rotary Sleigh also travelled down the mall bringing Father Christmas, which was a special moment for the children.

Vicki Rowles, Head of Fundraising said, “We were thrilled to see Santas, large and small, lining up at the start line all keen to run, jog or walk in support of the Hospice. It is such a surreal sight to see so many people dressed in their Santa suits.  A big thank you also goes to the sixth formers from Oldswinford Hospital School and the Rotarians who ensured the safety of the Santas.”
