The latest machinations on Brexit are among the stories making the front pages in Sunday’s papers.

The Sunday Times carries reports of former ministers looking at “hijacking Brexit” in what the paper calls “a very British coup”. There is also a column from former prime minister Sir John Major in which he writes Britain should “take time out and revoke Article 50”.

The Sunday Telegraph also runs with Brexit, suggesting that the Conservatives are on the “brink of an historic split” over Britain’s departure from the European Union as a parliamentary vote on Theresa May’s vote nears.

The Observer looks at Brexit from a Labour perspective, reporting that the party’s MPs have been told to prepare for an immediate vote of no-confidence should Mrs May lose next week’s vote.

The Independent carries a poll which suggests a final say on Brexit is the most popular option if the Government loses the Brexit vote.

Away from the politics of Brexit and the Sunday Mirror leads with a look at the leaders of the pro-Brexit yellow vest protesters.

The Sunday People reports that Levi Bellfield was “signed off” with stress from his prison job following TV drama Manhunt.

The Mail on Sunday reports that Speaker John Bercow met with former attorney general Dominic Grieve before allowing a controversial amendment in Westminster.

The Sunday Express also carries the latest on Brexit, with Mrs May writing in the paper that not delivering on Brexit would be “catastrophic for Britain and destroy trust in politics for decades”.

And the Daily Star on Sunday leads on the case of Carly Ann Harris, who died last year after being drowned in the bath.
