THE sun came out for Beaver Scouts from across Redditch who took part in a mini trek around Morton Stanley Park.
The Beavers had to navigate the park using a map to find different bases.
Each base had a different activity which they would need to complete, such as welly wanging, using navigational skills to find treasure, and gutterball where the Beavers worked in their team to transport balls from one point to another.
A spokesman said: "The bases were manned by the Scout Active Support members of Redditch, parents and leaders – without their support the activity could not have taken place.
"The event was won by Beavers from 1st Redditch Scout Group, they were thrilled to win - as were their leaders."
