A STYLIST to the stars has opened a salon on Evesham Road in Headless Cross.

Former The Salon reality star and X Factor stylist Terry Longdon has opened TLC Terry Longden Creatives at 101 Evesham Road.

The stylist, also a columnist for NOW magazine and The Daily Express, said: "What you see is what you get with me, straight talking, honest and there is nothing I relish more than a major colour correction challenge amongst my regular salon services."

There is not a lot about hairdressing, (particularly colour work) that Terry doesn't know.

Redditch Advertiser:

He has more than 35 years hairdressing experience and two Colour Specialist Degrees and is an artistic director of colour for Matrix Professional Haircare.

If that wasn't enough, he has even been stylist to his famously dysfunctional family Ozzy, Sharon and Kelly Osbourne.

On the new Salon, set on the end of a mews of cottages, he said: “It’s not a typical, run-of-the-mill salon where you’d go for a quick dry cut but is somewhere cosy, intimate and prestigious where customers can feel really looked after with a totally personal bespoke experience without breaking the bank."

He added: "At TLC I have introduced ‘gender neutral’ pricing; where a client will be charged on the length of hair and time it takes, rather on their sex they choose or are born with.

"This became more obvious to me whilst working in large cities with a large diverse society and LGBT, where I thought it was unfair to charge gay girls more for the same cut as a guy or a transgender client differently just because of how they wanted to be identified."
