WITH the festive season approaching, the Midlands Charity Association has once again opened up its Christmas card shop in Malvern.
As in previous years, the shop in at Hatherton Lodge, the headquarters of the charity ARCOS in Avenue Road.
It was opened this week by the town's mayor, Cynthia Palmer.
The shop is managed by the Malvern branch of Save the Children, and it is selling cards to raise money for 20 charities, both local and national.
Shop manager Joan Gibson said: "Last year, the shop achieved more than £13,000 for the charities."
The shop is open until Monday, December 17, from 10am to 4pm on weekdays and 10am to 1pm on Saturdays.
