MALVERN Male Voice Choir is marking the centenary of the ending of the Great War with a commemoration at the Church of the Ascension, Somers Park Avenue.
The event, entitled Through the Dark Clouds Shining, will include a great variety of music and readings appropriate for the evening.
The choir will be joined by Holy Trinity Senior Choir and the event will be led by lay minister Eileen Tomlin, and will include an act of remembrance. There will be a retiring collection for the Royal British Legion, the Malvern Link with Cowleigh Parish and Malvern Male Voice Choir.
The event is on Sunday, November 11, at 7pm.
Charles Pavey, conductor of Malvern Male Voice Choir commented: “This is an annual event for Malvern Male Voice Choir and is certainly one of the highlights of its year. All are welcome at what I hope will prove to be as moving an event as in previous years and all the more special in this centenary year.”
