KIDDERMINSTER theatre fans are invited to a wickedly wonderful production of a well-loved Roald Dahl story.

The Nonentities drama company will delight audiences young and old with their adaptation of 'The Witches' from Monday November 26 until Saturday December 1 at the Rose Theatre.

The award-winning tale tells the story of 'real' witches, who loathe all children.

The Grand High Witch gathers all the witches together for their annual conference at the Hotel Magnificent in Bournemouth, where they plot to eliminate all of the children in the country.

But the Grand High Witch and her cronies have reckoned without the spark and ingenuity of a young guest at the hotel and his rather brilliant grandmother.

The production will see the theatre group use puppets, designed by themselves, and other special effects to enhance the storytelling.

Tickets for the shows are priced between £11 and £14 and can be purchased by contacting the Rose Theatre box office on 01562 743745, or by visiting the website www.rosetheatre.co.uk.

Performances begin at 7.30pm.
