MEMBERS of the Beacon Explorer Scouts won every prize in a county-wide competition.
The unit had two teams competing in the event, held at the Rhydd Covert Scout campsite, near Bewdley,
The competition consists of a series of tests of scouting skills, teamwork, intelligence and thinking ability.
Bloomin’ Beacons won the prize for the day tests, and Blazin’ Beacons won the night tests shield.
They also won the Terry Dovey Award for best teamwork and topped the weekend off by winning the overall winners trophy.
Unit leader John Roe said: "If anyone moans about the youth of today, they need to see this lot working.
"They had great fun, put loads of effort in starting at 8am Saturday and finishing at 1am Sunday, and were delighted to be rewarded every prize going. We can offer this fun and experience to many more but all scout units need more adult volunteers. If you fancy volunteering, please email the district commissioner on dc@malvernscouts.org.uk."
