THE county council will be travelling to London to lobby the government over finding a long-term solution to adult social care.
Worcestershire County Council will also be handing over a birthday card celebrating 70 years of adult social care in the county.
The card has been signed by 112-year-old resident Grace Jones, Carole Cumino, the chief executive of Worcestershire Association of Carers, and all of the county council's councillors.
It will be presented to Health Secretary Matt Hancock at the House of Commons on tomorrow Tuesday, December 18.
Councillor Adrian Hardman, cabinet member for adult social care, said: "We've been celebrating 70 years of social care in Worcestershire for the past few months to highlight the great work being done by carers and social workers in our county."
